The visual implementation of your brand plays an important role in how you and your business are perceived by clients and other business people.
It can also play a role in getting your business remembered so that a potential client is more likely to remember you at the time they are ready to buy.
A bad design, or even just plain text, may well damage your ability to get work.
A good visual image should reflect:
The type of clients you are targeting, for example, general public, specialist skills sets, professional services
How you want to be seen by clients and the business community
What reflects the ethos and culture of your company
It also has to be something you are proud of, since it will be your public face every day.
The brand design process
Our brand design process follows a proven successful formula:
We discuss with you, and any other relevant people, the factors above
Our brand specialist produces a number of early design ideas
We review those with you, what you like and what you don’t like
We then iterate through to a design that meets all the criteria and you are happy with
We then produce final master designs in all relevant graphics formats for you to own
How often should you change your brand?
Having said all that, we are not in favour of regular brand changes and updates, particularly for smaller companies.
If you have a good brand image that works for you, then stick to it and don’t spend money on changing it.
Some examples of brand images we have design are shown on the right.
“I am so happy with my new brand. It reflects the professional image I want to portray, and makes me proud when I use it.”
